The site runs on an Ubuntu 14.04 virtual machine with 512 MB of RAM, a single-core processor, and a 20 GB SSD hosted by [https://www.digitalocean.com/ Digital Ocean] in San Francisco. Apache, PHP, MySQL, and MediaWiki—which runs Wikipedia—are the main software pieces.
