Published on Nov. 19, 2014, philbio.net was created by Shawn A. Miller, a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Philosophy and the Science & Technology Studies Program at UC Davis. The site runs on an Ubuntu 14.04 virtual machine with 512 MB of RAM, a single-core processor, and a 20 GB SSD hosted by Digital Ocean in San Francisco.
