This is simply a list. Soon, though, it will be a long list with many links.

The criteria for inclusion is just that a philosophy Ph.D. program have at least one full-time faculty member who self-identifies as a philosopher of biology. The standard of evidence required to make the list is basically a faculty web page of some kind or other that lists philosophy of biology as an AOS.[1]

Notes

  1. For the purposes of this list, History and Philosophy of Science departments count as Philosophy Departments, while free-standing Science & Technology Studies (or Science Studies) departments don't. The rationale for this is that this wiki exists primarily to help prospective Ph.D. students interested in philosophy of biology get the lay of the land by seeing who works where. The assumption is that these people want to enroll in philosophy programs or HPS programs, not STS programs.
